Celtic Freeport Connections fourth edition

As the new year begins, Celtic Freeport’s fourth edition of Celtic Freeport Connections highlights growing momentum across Wales’ energy transition.

The edition welcomes major national announcements, including the Allocation Round 7 offshore wind auction results, which awarded 8.4 GW of capacity and strengthened prospects for floating offshore wind in the Celtic Sea.

It also features new UK and Crown Estate funding to accelerate offshore wind supply chains, alongside progress at the Dragon Energy Wind Park and approval for hydrogen infrastructure in Pembrokeshire.
