Celtic Freeport welcomes final business case approval

Celtic Freeport welcomes the designation of its final business case by the UK and Welsh Governments.

This marks the transition to the delivery phase of the project, allowing the team to focus in turning ambition into action.

The milestone will unlock new investment and innovation, driving job creation and industrial transformation across South West Wales.

Luciana Ciubotariu, CEO of Celtic Freeport, said: “We now move forward to realise the potential of the Celtic Freeport and create lasting value for communities, businesses and future generations.

“This approval is a vote of confidence in our vision to support industrial decarbonisation and drive transformational growth in advanced manufacturing, energy transition, alternative fuels and floating offshore wind.”
