Ledwood Mechanical Engineering Ltd

Overview

Founded more than 40 years ago, Ledwood Mechanical Engineering Ltd is an independent engineering, fabrication, protective coatings and construction company serving the global energy production and process industries.

Ledwood operates from a 4.35-hectare (approximately 10.7-acre) waterfront site at Pembroke Dock on the Milford Haven Waterway. The company supports projects across the oil and gas, petrochemical, LNG, nuclear, power, steel, marine and renewable-energy sectors.

The site incorporates extensive fabrication workshops, dedicated protective-coatings facilities, substantial assembly and laydown areas, and direct access to Ledwood’s own quayside. This integrated capability enables large components, modules and assemblies to be manufactured, coated, assembled and transported directly by sea.

Alongside its established work in traditional energy and major infrastructure, Ledwood is positioning itself to support the growth of offshore wind in the Celtic Sea and wider UK market. Potential products include mooring and anchoring systems, secondary steelwork and other large, fabricated components required by the fixed and floating offshore-wind sectors.
