Celtic Freeport Connections Issue #7

The Celtic Freeport published Issue #7 of Celtic Freeport Connections, highlighting the momentum across our investment and innovation corridor in South West Wales.

This edition marks a major milestone with the signing of a memorandum of understanding unlocking £25 million in seed funding, alongside the introduction of a new customs offering to support investment.

It also features a £64 million boost for Port Talbot’s offshore wind hub, new supply chain funding opportunities and the UK Steel Strategy.

The newsletter sets out Celtic Freeport’s vision ahead of the Senedd elections, focused on infrastructure development, targeted sector support and long-term regional growth.
